Oh, my Lord. Tim Powers. That's a name I haven't heard for must be over 20 years.

The Anubis Gates, On Stranger Tides, The Drawing of the Dark. Yes I [sort of] remember those. It's been a very long time. The Anubis Gates was, for me, the best of them, and it was remarkable.

Ok then, here's a name I don't recall seeing around here: Norman Spinrad - Bug Jack Baron, Child of Fortune, The Iron Dream, The Void Captain's Tale etc, etc. I even have a 1st edition softcover copy (back then what else was there for Sci Fi) of The Solarians
