A similar thing happened to me once. I actually left a restaurant in the middle of my dinner one time because some insufferable parents came in and let their children run around all over the place while the parents actively ignored them. I told the waitress to pack up the rest of my meal to go because I didn't feel comfortable sitting next to some bone-head that felt their little darlings should be free to run rampant regardless of the others around them. I quickly grew tired of waiting for the helpless staff to remove them and waiting for the parents to actually "parent"...geeze.

Hmmm, not sure why your gun story reminded me of this...maybe I went home and cleaned my gun or something. ;)

Plus there were a dozen or so small kids running around all over the place that had only 2 adults watching them. I was just waiting for one of the kids to go for a gun....geeze.
