Iraq has a republic - not a very good one, by our standards, but they are building one - if they can keep it.

Vice President Joe Biden is trying to take credit for some of the recent good news (like the Sunni party deciding not to boycott the upcoming elections) - stating that Iraq "could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You're going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You're going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government."

Greatest achievements? Exactly who was it that opposed everything that made this achievement possible? Why, none other than Biden and Obama themselves.

And who "did" make this possible??? C'mon, you can say it.......

I wasn't a big Bush fan, but it is nauseating, even for a pompous fool like Biden, to take credit for the very thing he and Obama opposed.

(Just to refresh everyone's memory, Biden advocated that Iraq should be split among Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis...and Sen. Obama opposed the surge of US troops that, in hindsight, brought a level of stability).
