Ok you're right.
It was a bad-taste comment that I made from being frustrated on our disagreement.
It's just one of those "put yourself in my shoes" type of thing and I'm not convinced he has...but at the same time I haven't either. That being said - I sure as hell would not want to be in his shoes and actually have to act on these things or have the whole would question my actions as those in law enforcement have too.

Anyway...John I owe you an apology ...I will keep our disagreements civil from now on. Lucky for me I've run across someone from the other side willing to discuss their views. We might not ever agree, but thankfully you've expressed your standpoint carefully and taken the time to explain your standpoint....I may not agree with all of it, but at least I know what you mean, and you haven't restored to taking personal digs at me in the meantime...which again I'd like to say I'm sorry and duuuh I know better. I've been a member of this fourm for a long time and in the past I've been troubled when I've seen personal attacks and honestly I know better.
