Re gold medals, I read in the sports news morning that in Pittsburgh last night all members of the Canada and U.S. hockey teams on the Penguins and Sabres were introduced before their first NHL game back. The Pittsburgh crowd gave a standing ovation to Ryan Miller even though he was a member of the visiting team. Classy! The article said Miller got an even bigger ovation than the Penguins' own Sidney Crosby.
