Thanks. I had seen that, but I do not and have never used Team System before 2010. AFAIK I was not licensed for it and it is not available in my MSDN downloads. No way to upgrade from that which I don't have :(

This evening I'm fighting with VS2010 and TFS trying to COPY a VS2008 project to another folder and get it into TFS source control. The project was under VSS2005 source control.

I removed all .VSS and ??VSS files from the project, created a project in TFS Source Control, added all the files and folders to the TFS project, then opened the project from TFS in VS2010. VS2010 asked to upgrade the project which I figured was OK since I have my original in VSS. When what to my bloodshot eyes appears - VS2010 switches from TFS source control to VSS, opens my VSS project, checks it out and upgrades it.

Son of a 8itch!

I've tried twice (undoing the checkouts between) and it does the same thing each time.

GRRRRrrrr....
