If you are talking about something like Thumbnail Previews then the easiest way is to use an image control with the stretch = 1 ISOMETRIC. That way the image is auto resized with the correct dimensions to fit in the image control whatever its size. There is no distortion.

Another way would be to generate thumbnails with GDI+X and display those.

For a viewer the best way is using the Web Broswser control as it can display more image and other formats than VFP can.
