I need this so that I can authenticate the user against the entered password before allowing the password to be changed. I figured I'd need something like this:

if oCurrentUser.Authenticate(password)

I tried this:
if (oUser.AuthenticateUser(SecurityUserId, currentPass))
but get an error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Anyone can tell me how to use this?
Thanks
