How can I pass variable from an application written in old Foxpro for Windows to VFP 9.0?

In the old foxpro, I used "RUN match.exe" to run match.exe written in VFP 9.0.

Now I need a variable from the old foxpro to the new VFP9.0.

Is this possible?
