>>>Last time I had to reinstall Windows, I didn't really bother to reinstall everything else, because most of the software doesn't require that. Among those, Fox - I had to regsvr32 the vfp9 exe so it would make the extension associations, but other than that it works without registering.
>>>
>>>However, to this day Object browser doesn't - when I try to add an activeX to it, it complains about reading tlb files. Obviously, something isn't registered. The error I'm getting is "Error instantiating TypeLib component. Please make sure TLI.TLIApplication is installed on your system.".

>>Te TypeLibInformation object (TLI) is implemented in the Tlbinf32.dll file that has been shipped with the Visual Studio 6.0. I guess VFP installs it as well.

>I was missing this dll - found, registered and still no luck. Probably needs a reboot or some such action... and I've just rebooted this morning. I'll try again later... and if nothing else works, I may just need to reinstall VFP (which I really don't want to do... I've tweaked my environment long ago, I feel I may spend too much time recreating it).

Which part of VFP environment customization are you concern with?
