ONe other thing. AS an alernative to a resource file, you can get your settings the way you like them, go into the options dialog and click ok while holding down the shift key. This fills your clipboard with programmatic commands that will reproduce your settings. Paste this into a prg, and specify this prg as your startup file. You do this by putting a line like this in your config.fpw:

COMMAND=DO HOME()+'VFPSTART.prg'.
