The good thing about the NFL is it often doesn't take long to turn it around. A couple of good drafts and some free agent signings and the Panthers can be right back in the mix in a couple of years. Although I'm not sure about free agency. There seems to be some new wrinkle that makes it easier for teams to hold onto their players. Not the franchise tag, something different.
