I have seen all these things in the news. Maybe you should start reading the New York Times ;-)

If anything what you call ClimateGate has been overcovered. Yes, it was real sloppy by the scientists who did it. Where I have a problem is when some people take it to mean there is no such thing as global warming. It doesn't prove any such thing.
