Hi Derek,

usually, this is what we do. However it depends on the number of accesses you have while your app is in use. As most of our input fields make use of db contents, for us it is essential to leave the connection open. Do you only need sqlexec when starting your app an for saving/modifying records every few minutes, then it might make sense, to close your connection immediately after usage.
