I just checked it in VFP 6 and it's appearently a different bug than the one I referred to. In VFP 6 an ICO file displays 6 pixel in the lower left corner, a red, balck, green, black, blue, black pixel. I tested it with several ICO files that ship with VS 6, and the result was the same every time. It does happen in the image control as well as on command buttons. Weird. The only workarounds I can think of so far are either reducing the size of the icon to 32x31, but that's only possible if the last line is empty, or converting the ICO file to a BMP file.
