Rick,
A year ago I had old bootleg copies of Word, Excel, FrontPage, etc. I had only "Update" copies of the operating system. I priced getting legal. It was about $1500 for what I absolutely needed, another $2000 for Project, SQL Server, VB, VC++... all the stuff that I "ought to have." $2000 got me everything. Since then there've been new OS's, Fox releases, IIS, MTS, DTC... Several thousand in upgrades. I'd say it's well worth it for me. Considering it's deductible as a business expense, it's really only about $1300 "spendable".
The only package M$ makes that I haven't found in in the MSDN is Publisher 98, and that may be hidden on one of the CDs somewhere.
>Just curious if the MSDN Universal subscription includes Microsoft Proxy Server 2.0. Also, if those of you who have the U.S. really think it's worth it and why?? -Rick
