Just checked out your blog on the subject (I posted a reply). But urge you to take a very close look at what python is able to do that is very different from VFP. Following VFP syntax for the sake of getting VFP on .Net is not taking advantage of the language. You would not be the first VFP'er to start on the path. Paul McNett started to do a similar task - along with Larry Long. Only to discover that python in some cases had better ways to deal with the same task. As far as access to data please check out what Dabo has done to ease the associated table fields with controls. Also review what SQLAlchemy has done to interface the data. I like Dabo's way better - but that's me.
