I have visited Japan many times, and I have one good advice. I strongly recommend that you take some time to study Japanese etiquette, it's very easy to offend them deeply if you are not careful. One example is when you receive a business card, they will always give it to you with both hands, so you must receive it with both hands. In their mind a business card is a part of their soul, and they give it to you with great respect and ceremony.
