>>>I am traveling to Japan tomorrow for about 2 weeks. It is for work but I am hoping to have some free time while I am there. I will be in Tokyo for about 6 days including the weekend. Is there something I just must see while in Japan?

>>I worked for/with Mitsubishi (not the auto, but the property division when I worked for Morgan Stanley) for awhile and I can only recommend that you study ediquette. It is very important. It may haved changed, but when I worked for/with them, they expected everyone to pretty much work 24x7. However, visitors were shown every hospitality which is a great honor and it's important to use proper etiquette at those times/events especially.

>By far the strangest (and coolest) trip was when he took me to Tokyo for a month-long trip when I was 7 IIRC. For some reason I was the only one along on that one, and his company had nannies (there was a word for them in Japan - far too long ago to remember) that took care of me 24x7 and took me out to see Tokyo when he was busy. They worked very hard trying to tell me how to behave during official functions (probably so I wouldn't restart WWII).

>Absolutely incredible trip.

Thanks William. I am looking forward to the trip. I leave tomorrow at 6AM. Not much time to prepare but I have printed stuff that I can read on the plane. And I have been watching Ninja Warrior on TV to learn some Japanese :)
