>>>>>>Believe it or not, the Chicago archdiocese still has an exorcist on the staff.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>I heard a rumor that he once requested two cold ones for after the service - and later two altar-boys were found, rear-end naked, sitting in 2 feet of snow.

>>>>From today's paper! Those exorcists, they're always in the news ;-)

>>>But the "holy see" is such a misnomer - I can't begin to guess how did "sedes" avoid being translated into "seat". In at least a dozen languages it is "sacred stool" (and yes, stool means stool in pretty much all of them).
>>
>>I bet I know what the scariest movie is for you -- "In America" LOL
>
>The last scary movie that I remember scared the stool out of me was Ishiro Honda's The Mysterians. After that I decided I actually didn't enjoy scary movies at all... unless it was the Polanski's "The Fearless Vampire Killers" (or, "Vampire ball" as it was translated in Yugoslavia; the title then became a reference for the teaching staff meeting, while we were students :), which I found incredibly funny. Specially the long scene with about two minutes of total darkness, while they climb the stairs to the top of the tower, during which I sneezed thunderously. The whole audience reacted with a loud "AH!", then realized that nothing is happening on the screen, then started mocking each other "what, you got scared, eh?".
>
>As for the US, nah, I'm used to it. Though, when I started counting the different birds and animals I saw around the house, someone on a forum back home said "it's a whole zoo - come to Belgrade to see civilization". "The desert, you mean?".
>
>Today it was a family of ducks enjoying the rain. Don't see the geese anymore, I think I've sent them to Alan already.

The geese are still here and driving me nuts. They are in the lake outside my place and they are NOISY. Geese are only fun when they are someone else's problem... :o) The swans are here too - they live here permanently. They are not as noisy (although they can be) but they are sometimes a nuisance as well. beautiful to watch though...
