I am looking at the news2news code to see if perhaps there is something there that can be used as it looks very interesting. However, I believe VFP's native OLE Drag and Drop is able to achieve all of that functionality without API declarations.

What troubles me is that I am able to do exactly what I need (get the full path of a dropped file name) in objects and/or forms in my application but I am unable to replicate the behavior on the _SCREEN object (where I want it to work). Furthermore, the _SCREEN object does have all the used and required properties/methods (OLEDragDrop,OLEDragOver, OLEDropHasData, etc.) which implies the functionality is there so the problem with my logic seems to reside in the BINDEVENT - but I don't see what's wrong with it.
