I guess nobody dared do that in Gruzia (what Georgia calls itself), for they'd show their audience to be the suckers who didn't know who was Orson Welles and what he did. Then both news agencies sang along - you don't want your client country to be deurinated at your reporters, right? And then everybody else down the informational food chain just retells what they get from these two agencies - nobody else has accredited reporters abroad anymore. So...
