Hi,
Good to hear, glad to help.

For the Backup, have a look at http://www.backupassist.com/index.html it works well, especially with imaging to multiple USB drives.

>I finally got up and running a server with your specs and it is very pleasing. Silent and fast, running Windows Server 2008 from a copy of MSDN won at a conference, All in all a very good deal. Thank you.

>>Hi,
>> Please find listed below the component list that I use for a Entry Level Server that works.

>> As far as redundant PSU's are concerned I have given away using them as I have had only 1 failure in the past 5 years. I find that if you sit the server behind a decent sine wave filtering UPS you don't get failures.

>>Any way, just order a replacement PSU when you order the case, and just replace it if it fails, takes about 10 mins.

>>>Thank you very much Neil. Please tell me more about what components you might specify today. Single processor, not extremely demanding applications for now, mostly file sharing, two disks to start, more eventually. Perhaps redundant power supply. Maintainability in Panama, which means standard parts.
