I have a new program where memo fields are over written many times during the day. I just realized that the memo files became huge and I assume that is because i am updating the memo field with new data every time the program runs it's process. I can pack the table and that fixes the problem but since it is a multiuser program I can't just do a pack every time someone runs the process.

I am playing with the idea of using our old fake memo tables where we break apart the memo created in the cursor and save it as a series of text fields. Anyone got any other ideas? This problem is new to me.
