I think by default Windows will prevent one application from directly accessing another's memory/address space.

Certain applications running in privileged modes can get this information e.g. debuggers: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/Devtools/Debugging/default.mspx

I don't have any ideas how you might automate a debugger from within VFP.
