It's not that big a change in terms of interface, if any. After about two weeks, I can't remember a serious (fatal) GPF. No "blue screen of death", etc. One of the things that MS said about Win98 was that it would be far more stable than 95. My experience seems to indicate that it's true. As far as being on the cutting edge, if it were a knife, it wouldn't be too sharp.:-)
