None that I know about. It was installed by hardware support group and I strongly doubt that there is anything other than standard installation. How could I check on this??

I suppose it's possible. The file extension, though, is XLSM. Is there any way to examine the file to see if that's not the correct format?

Another note: When displayalerts = true, the following appears:
This file is not in a recognizable format.

If you know the file is from another program which is incompatible with Microsoft Office Excel, click Cancell, then open this file in its original application. If you want to open the file later in Microsoft Office Excel, save it in a format that is compatible, such as text format.

If you stil lwant to see what text is contained in the file, click OK. Then click Finish in the Text Import Wizard

Nothing else appears and setting Excel to visible shows the same incorrect stuff. All advice, suggestions, etc. appreciated

........Rich
