I absolutely loved the old Maverick shows, but I have to admit, other than those starring James Garner, I really didn't care much. Brett Maverick was a true artist. Bart mostly was like all the other westerns - a lot of fist fights etc. Not much cleverness, while Brett was the epitome of clever. Beau did nothing for me and I really don't even remember Brent.
