Hello all,

The last week I have experienced VS 2008 crashing several times per hour. I find myself saving and checking in at least every couple of minutes. This has happened after virtually no changes to my PC that I can think of I don't notice anything specific to be the cuase or trigger.

The message I get is asking if I want to Debug, close the application, or restart the application. Occasionally win I restart I get a message indicating VS can recover some files but that has proven to be a worse idea then just retyping what I did.

anybody else having any issues like this? If so any ideas on how to correct it?

I am running VS 2008 Development Edition Version 9.0.30729.1 SP with Dot Net Framework version 3.5 SP1 on a 64bit windows 7 box with 12GIG RAM and a Intel Xeon 2.4GHz 2 Core processor.
