Thanks. There is a bit of the app I have ported to VFP and I could use SQL server in part of it. Thing is, I can't justify charging the client for the cost of SQL Server and would need to use a free version.
The VFP stuff is running using TS and Server 2008 64 bit. The programs are an abomination using SAYs and GETs with the screens looking pretty much like they did under dBase (and the predecessor Clipper). The customer doesn't care, they just want the numbers and I have to say the app runs like a bat out of hell using TS.
