Sometimes the product is purchased and it better be in a language they have in-house skills to support. Other times they are just looking for a comfort factor and it makes my life easier if I can provide that.

I looked around briefly but didn't see any .NET user groups (on Universal Thread) in the LA area. Kind of hard to believe and easier to believe I wasn't looking in the right places. And then there is Google - should have looked there first :( More dot net groups than knots in a fish net.
