Try this one:
[1] Create a database with one table and populate the database with however many records you want.
[2] Create a VFP ODBC User DSN for the database.
[3] Open the database designer, create the connection, and then create the remote view.
[4] Create a form and add the view to the DataEnvironment - optional: add controls binding the data.
If you run the form, create and run the .APP, or create and run the .EXE from within the command window, there are no problems - all works fine. But when you run the EXE from the desktop the following ODBC error occurs:
"Error loading file - record number 10. Frmfnd1
members>.Loading form or the data environment: Connectivity
error: [Microsoft][ODBC Visual Foxpro Driver]Cannot open file
c:\projects\testprj\testdata.dbc"
Let me know if you get the same error.
