Don't waste your time on trying to get them to understand. "Over there" it's "money first, people last". It has always been like that, and I don't think it will ever really change. My son's father in law is a doctor, but he never carries his MD license with him when he travels to the US. If someone should get hurt around him, he would rather walk away than risking getting sued.

I am happy that I don't live in the US, although I love the country and the people over there.
