Hi,

Say you have a Cascading Referential Integrity set to Cascade and update foreign key tables when the value of unique field/column of primary table is changed.
Then, in your VFP application you call an update command (SPT) (e.g. UPDATE MyTable SET MyUniqueField=?NewValue). I suppose SQL Server will attempt to update all foreign key tables. What if one of them fails (for whatever reason), does SQL Server have an “internal” TRANSACTION set to Undo the changes to those tables that managed to be updated? Or do I have to do something in VFP to set TRANSACTION?

TIA.
