>I don't see a relation to this question, Did you try Advantage in a 64 bit environment? I doubt it really has 64 bit support for VFP tables in local server mode. If not in local server mode then I don't see a reason why I wouldn't use MS SQL instead (thinking loud, no debates).

I didn't. I saw this driver mentioned before, so I assumed it may be a good idea to try. Luckily for me I don't need to access VFP tables from .NET
