My youngest son graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in architecture last summer. Unfortunately, he tells me that you can't really get jobs without going on to post-graduate studies and getting a Masters degree. In the interim, you can intern at architecture firms. He hasn't managed to land an internship yet ... he currently works at an Atlanta restaurant delivering take-out food to the lunch-time crowds on a scooter. Fun job! <g>

>>Well, your at least half right, the first half. Lord knows about the second half. I do know my daughter loves France, enjoys learning French, is doing pretty good at it, and will probably change her mind three or four times about her eventual career before she graduates from college.

>She is a whiz in school, always has been. This entire school year she has received mail from colleges almost every day. She rarely even looks at them, just stacks them up to see how high the stack gets. Once in a while a college name catches my eye and I say maybe you should look at this one. She doesn't <g> -- the cockiness of the young. I am sure we will go on many road trips in the fall. She has her heart set on Stanford. Maybe she is finally listening to me when I say I don't care how smart you are, it's almost impossible to get into.
