Which was not even my point. Do you not consider the settlements acts of provocation? Mike, what little knowledge you seem to have on this subject appears to be incredibly one-sided.
The question is a complex one - in "some" cases, there is debate that settlements "may" be counter to the Israeli goals of peace. Having said that, there is so much mistrust that pulling back from some of these settlements is not a strategic option for them (actually, it would be suicide)
Some settlements are actually re-builds of older Jewish areas that had previously been bombed to dust.
See my email in Tracy - in 1967, after Israel won the 6-day war, Israel made offers to withdraw in exchange for piece....go Gooogle on "the three nos" and "Arab countries" and "1967" ....or just google on "Khartoum summit").
Mike, at this point, given your comments and your comments about the justification for 9/11, I don't know if you are anti-semitic or just really really bad at history.
