I was tempted to record it but am too behind already. He was excellent on Deadwood, as was the rest of the cast.

Oddly enough, the main reason I am behind is The Shield. I did not watch it when it was on and have now been devouring it on DVD. Am through season 3. The character they are doing a good job on (well, lots of them) is Shane. At first he was just a buffoon. They have upped the ante writing his part and he is now almost as complex as Vic. He has some terrible traits and some good ones.

That Mara, though <g>. Poor Shane. Not to mention her mom!

And yeah, I would ask Danny out <g>. (That's short for Danielle, for the uninitiated). I was in stitches watching the episode where the young black guy is hitting her up. She knows he's a con man and is somewhat charmed anyway. (Wasn't he the same guy Shane brought Mara's diamond from? Hot? LOL. Even Vic had to say whoa at that. "You bought an engagement ring from a fence?!")
