I think we found the problem.

When you install Crystal Reports 2008 without any updates you get version 12.0.0.549. De equipped xBase-dataconnector works perfect !
When you install SP0 (version 12.0.0.683) the connector doesn't work with databases including memo-fields.

Solution : make copy of connector-file (crdb_p2bxbse.dll) before updating and copy this file after updating.
Problem solved.
What i don't understand is why a coorporation like Business Objects can afford such a things... I hate companies like that :(
