>Anyone have any experience/war stories populating a SugarCRM database with Fox data?
Having no particular experience with using the API and other means of intergration... I definately hate SugarCRM. We are using it internally, but to me its completely useless aside from storing customer information and creating and maintaining cases.
Most of the times, its just slow. You need many clicks to get from a to b and each and every click takes several seconds. The email module seems buggy to say the least. We had many problems with that in the sense that emails got missing.
A team member did integrate sugar into another product and since we are using a thrid party to host it, got really frustrated by their load balancing as sessions went up into nothing. Tracking and solving this particular problem has costed thousands of dollars with the necessary frustration.
All in all, I would not bother with CRM if we were to start from scratch again. I'd rather search for a CRM that is snappy and has actually working email integration for teams... preferably through ms exchange
