You could be right. I have never noticed that this notebook has a fan. But the noise I hear is pretty much always when data is written or read from the drive. You know that there is a little light on the notebook that shows when the drive access takes places. So I see the light on and hear noise. But I will take it out of the docking station later and see if I can find the fan and if it is dirty. Thank you.
