I disagree. If you are trying to post a question on hardware, OS, or network connectivity for the Windows OS, then there are places for that. None of those categories exist for other operating systems though and since the overall group is "Windows" it is not logical to post them there. If the question is regarding routers, switches, or hubs then quite often the OS is moot and sometimes it is important.
