I only saw it here in Toronto, but it was with Colm Wilkinson as Valjean, and it was truly awe inspiring. Practically no props (a couple of tables and some junk for the barricade scene), but it was all so imaginably real. Words cannot describe the emotion the music conjured. And the way the same musical theme ran through all of it was incredible.

Here's something you might not know. Wilkinson's major musical hero? Ray Charles. Next greatest influence? Chuck Berry.
