The only way I have found which works is by changing the content property of the iframe as this:

loFrame.contentWindow.document.body.style.backgroundColor=tcBackground

I have seen some threads on the net about cascading the body style but this doesn't work. For some kind of reason, even changing the cascaded body style, this will overwrite the main body of the outermost container.
