I ran into this also. I don't know what exactly made the difference. I ran the setup wizard on an NT machine and got a disk set that worked. Since then I have created a 'runtime' disk set (stored on the LAN) with a dummy app and that seems to run on all computers we have. Once the 'runtime' is installed, the actual exe is copied and run. It only needs to be run once per computer for all/any of our apps.

Hope this helps.

>>>I have researched and printed every message from the UT about the setup wizard error of "Your setup files may be damaged...blah blah blah" and I have implemented them and I still get the message. My app is installed on a LAN with the appropriate dll's with the .exe. Any new machine can run it fine without having anything installed on
>>>it at all. I have about 5 machines (P75 WIN95) that get the "Invalid or corrupt vfp*.dll" message. I have tried in vain to use the setup wizard to create disks or a netsetup.
>>>
>>>I have deleted the vfp\distrib directory, deleted the wizsetup.ini in the vfp directory and in my files for distribution directory. I have deleted my dkcontrol.* files. I am using vfp50a and according to what I found at the Microsoft site has the latest version of the
>>>setup wizard. Still after all this and hours of trying, I am still getting the same message !!!!
>>>
>>>I am completely out of things to try. Please help !!!

>>>Thanks in advance !!!!!
>>After seeing "I tried all ..." I shouldn't ask this but are there any files that names are not in 8.3 format (longfilename).
