Well then, I intend to make good use of the ADO.NET book when it arrives. I'll look into Entity Framework as well. There is just so much to digest, or learn. At some point, I have to go to work using C# and handle data well enough for a company to believe I can do the job for them, but I want that feeling of confidence for myself also.

>No, you did not waste your money. Most of what we do as developers is maintenace...which means apps that were written using ADO.NET. It will also give you insight into why things are much better and easier with something like NHibernate or Entity Framework.
