>>Hello,

>>We are using Visual FoxPro 5.0 and we have build a framework. In that framework we have used a database container named 'framewrk.dbc' with a couple of tables.. Now we would like to make an application from that framework. We want to rename the dbc but that can not be done. All the tables can't find the dbc and won't open if we change the name. Is it possible to change the dbc-name without losing all the tables in it? Thank you for your time.

Ummm... I ve tried it, it work fine if the database DO NOT have Views...
if it fail in work on View....

Besides, I have a wish list that:
VFP should not blank the whole view if there is a missing field!
In case the view have many calculate field, it make programmer hard to remember what it put...
At least, it should prompt out where/which field is failed to find...
(Reason is some field of basetable may delete column or rename column!)
Else, it make the programmer hard to do...
The weak wait for chance, The strong bid for chance,
The clever notch up chance, but The merciful give you chance.
