One more voice wouldn't harm:) As I work more and more with .Net I started to think other way like "No simple way to do data in VFP".
Now you ask for tutorials to .Net data handling (and I get it as useful video, book, blog ...) one blog is mine looking Linq from a VFP viewpoint (sort of). You can check my blog folowing my signature.

PS: It takes some time to see it from a different persepective but not 3-4 years and certainly frustrating initially:)
