Somehow I knew we were not going to see eye to eye on this ;-) There is actually a rich history of military collaboration between the U.S. and France. It's only in recent years that we got in the habit of gong around the world having unilateral military adventures. That really worked out well, didn't it? Even our staunchest allies were PO-ed at us, with good reason. Nobody cheers for Goliath.
