Well, I'm not sure why I didn't correct that entire posting to be a little more accurate in regards to understanding of it. I asked the "how long" question because I had a sneaking suspicion that it was the change with .NET where they went back to a "copy it all to this folder" approach to get away from DLL hell that you were referring to . . .

In most of my installations, these DLLS are in that folder and the system runs with no problems, but in the Win2K3 installations, placing them in the app's folder solved the "FLL is invalid" issue (for 32-bit and some 64-bit versions). I'm just left wondering why it is not solving it on this one particular server . . .
